Melbourne Florida isn't a culinary capital, but with a little knowledge about where the locals eat, you can get great food at a decent price. I'm going to discuss several of my favorite places in and around Melbourne so you have some choices no matter where you are as you travel around our town.

Melbourne-Palm Bay and the Beaches You can bask in the sunshine on our 33 miles of unspoiled beaches by daylight or take a romantic moonlit walk with tropical breezes at night. Our year-round semi-tropical climate allows you to partake in many outdoor recreational amenities such as golf, snorkeling, swimming and the Sebastian Inlet State Recreational area with 578 areas of fishing, boating and camping.

MELBOURNE BEACH — What a difference 100 miles make. After leaving West Palm Beach and driving two hours north to Sebastian, we cruised along State Road A1A. What we found were broad expanses of the Indian River to the west and a mixture of beachfront homes and small motels along Melbourne Beach.

Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill Crisis. Tuckaway Shores located in Indialantic, FL remains unaffected by the recent oil spill. Our waters are clear and our beaches are clean.
